What does an air conditioning expansion valve do?

2024-09-18

The main functions of air conditioning expansion valves include regulating flow, controlling over heat, throwing downstreaming and controlling evaporation levels.

1.Regulating Flow

The electronic expansion valve determines the opening of the valve by combining the degree of overheating of the refrigerant, thereby effectively adjusting the refrigeration dose of entering the vaporator to ensure that the heat load matching inside the refrigerator and the evaporator.

2. controlling over Heat

When the heat of the evaporator increases, the electronic expansion valve increases its opening, thereby increasing the flow of the refrigerant; on the contrary, when the heat is reduced, the refrigerant flow will also decrease accordingly.

3. Throwing Downstreaming

The expansion valve can also convert the high-voltage refrigerant liquid of normal temperature to a low -temperature and low -pressure liquid, and by reducing the pressure to absorb heat to the outside world, it meets the needs of the air conditioning.

4. Controlling Evaporation Levels

If the air-conditioning system has a liquid level control function, the electronic expansion valve can also control the liquid level to ensure the full use of the heat transfer area, avoid the excessive heat that affects the inhalation during the inhalation process, and ensure the normal operation of the system.
